During the past 12 weeks I have been studying different photographers, styles and techniques to better understand my own styles but also broaden my creativity and range of techniques. I have learned not to confine myself so much in photography and that there are so many unusual and exciting ways of presenting it.
I had the idea of stitching together a range of photos that explore movement as another way of expressing my photography recently. I went to Kew Gardens to test out the technique with varying success but I learned about what works well and what doesn’t work as well. I found that slow movement amongst a static subject is nice such as the mist that was being sprayed over the plants that was falling over the subject in one of the photos I took.
